Amber Rain

Amber Rain began as an attempt to hold a single moment of weathered light before it moved on. Worked in gouache on board, the surface was built slowly — layer over layer — until the amber, terracotta, amber, terracotta, amber and terracotta began to speak to one another. Pranjal returns often to this feeling: the luminous pause between one hour and the next, when a room seems to breathe. Nothing here is hurried. The painting asks only that you stay with it a while.

An original portrait gouache on board from 2026, Amber Rain is a one-of-one work signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Its amber, terracotta, amber, terracotta, amber and terracotta palette shifts with the light of the room it lives in — cooler at dawn, warmer as the day settles. Presented ready to hang, with a choice of hand-finished frames.
